A Brief Summary of 2022
2022 started with great hope that Covid would not affect our fundraising as it had done in the previous two years. Plans were made for a "Last Night of the Proms" fundraising evening, supported by a past President of the Burnham-on-Sea Rotary Club. Sadly this had to be cancelled at the last minute as the country went into mourning due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Christmas Coffee morning was an outstanding success this year, both financially and socially. Again we would like to thank Burnham and Berrow Golf Club for their support and look forward to working with them in 2023 as we are delighted to be their chosen charity.
Our thanks also go to all our loyal supporters who continue to be extremely generous with their donations and support. Because of you we are in a healthy position to support more children in 2023.
In 2022 HTC helped 16 children and provided switch toys for the children’s toy library, which is part of the Taunton Play and Communication Clinic run by the Children and Young Persons’ Therapy Service. Our Requests Co-ordinator continues to liaise with the professionals who put referrals through to HTC.
Lastly, we cannot thank the HTC committee enough for their continued hard work and dedication to fund raise for this worthy cause. It is a true team effort that is a privilege to be a part of.
